ALEXANDRIA, Va.-NCUA Board Member Debbie Matz recently announced the agenda for her April 28 Partnering and Leadership Successes workshop regarding creating new business. At the St. Louis conference, credit union panelists will share initiatives to reach "New Markets, New Members, and New Business." Kansas Credit Union Association President Marla Marsh will facilitate the opening panel on reaching into new markets. Representatives from Anheuser-Busch Employees Credit Union, U.S. Federal Credit Union, and Aviation Associates Credit Union will share their secrets for finding new markets. The panel focusing on obtaining new members will be led by Iowa Credit Union League President Tom Griffiths. Credit union officials from Missouri, Illinois and Iowa plan to tell their stories of successful efforts to reach new members. The final panel on generating new business will be facilitated by Cliff Rosenthal, executive director of the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions. Indiana, Illinois, and Kansas credit union representatives will help inform fellow credit union officials how to round up new business. The PALS workshop, to be set at the Hyatt Regency at One St. Louis Union Station, a national landmark, will be co-hosted by the Missouri Credit Union Association, CUNA, Illinois Credit Union System, the Iowa and Kansas leagues, and the NFCDCU.
