New Jersey Federal Credit Union, Totowa, has named member Joan Millar the winner of the Palm Pilot Drawing. Millar entered NJFCU's drawing while attending the NJEA Convention in Atlantic City. Tower Federal Credit Union, Laurel, Md., has awarded its member Nancy Prugh with an enhanced definition 42-inch plasma screen monitor. Prugh was the winner of Tower's eStatements Sweepstakes, which encouraged members to sign up on its Web site, towerfcu.org, to receive their statements electronically. For four years, the Prughs have used Tower's online Home Banking service. More than 34,000 Tower FCU members manage their accounts online. Heritage Credit Union, Madison, Wis., has honored two employees with the Unsung Hero award, which recognized staffers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty by providing outstanding service and support. This year's honorees are ISS Support Specialist Chris Woods and Head Bookkeeper Sean Merrigan. Each honoree received a $500 cash gift and a certificate. Travis Credit Union, Vacaville, Calif., has been voted the "Best Place to Bank in Solano County" by Fairfield Daily Republic readers.
