AUSTIN, Texas – The Credit Union Information Security Professionals Association has landed its first CUSO member, and it's a big one. PSCU Financial Services, at more than 500 members the nation's largest credit union service organization, has joined the CUISPA as a charter affiliate member. PSCU's information security officer, Robert Miles, also has been appointed to the CUISPA's board of directors. "Security has become a dynamic and continually evolving issue for every credit union. It is time we start working together on these common challenges," Miles says. The Austin-based CUISPA, a knowledge sharing and networking organization, was formed late last year and has been holding peer group meetings around the country. The organization hopes to have 400 to 500 individual members by year's end. Affiliate members signed on so far include CUNA Mutual and security specialists SecureWorks, PM Systems Corp. and Intrusion Inc.
