ST. LOUIS – Vantage Credit Union has donated $5,000 to the Special Education Foundation. Established in 1984, the Special Education Foundation provides financial resources such as scholarships, student recognition and leadership programs. Scholarships are awarded to students with disabilities who plan on obtaining higher education at a college or university and are presented at the Foundation's annual `Commitment to Kids' recognition banquet to be held on May 1 this year. Last year the Foundation awarded $52,000 in college scholarships. Vantage CU has awarded some $25,000 in college scholarships, in addition to providing free financial education presentations and materials to students.
