SANTA ROSA, Calif. – RCU Services Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Redwood CU, has opened an auto center which the $1.1 billion CU describes as “the ultimate auto buying experience.” The new 2,240 square foot facility allows consumers to view an ever-changing inventory of certified pre-owned and recovered vehicles with competitive, no-haggle prices clearly posted on each vehicle. The new one-stop shopping facility also offers new and used auto brokerage services, on-site financing, insurance, and many after-market products. Redwood CU has offered auto brokering through a business partner since 1992, but it moved the service directly under its CUSO to create a more convenient and consolidated auto purchasing experience for consumers. Renee Guerin, president/CEO, RCU Services Group said the CUSO’s intent is to provide the consumer with a truly convenient and one-stop-vehicle-purchasing experience that can save them money and time. RCU Auto Services has competitive loan products offered though the CU, assists with the buyer’s insurance needs through RCU Insurance Services (a division of RCU Services Group), and also offers a variety of after-market products including GAP and MBI.
