WASHINGTON – NRL Federal Credit Union has donated American History classroom educational resource kits produced by the award-winning The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. These kits were presented to Fort Foote Elementary School in Fort Washington, Maryland and to Ellen Glasgow Middle School in Alexandria, Virginia. Designed to help interest and educate students about the unique history of the founding of our nation and the freedoms enjoyed, the kits include special educational tools using a variety of media and lesson plans that explore historical subjects related to life in colonial times, the American Revolution and the birth of the "Idea of America."
