MADISON, Wis. – CUNA will hold its first Women's Leadership Summit June 12-14 in Coronado, Calif. The association says the three-day event is "aimed at women credit union leaders and those who work toward becoming leaders." According to CUNA's 2004 Complete Credit Union Staff Salary Survey, 49% of all credit union CEOs/managers are women. The figure is higher among smaller credit unions. CUNA says attendees will learn about their individual leadership skills and how to effectively lead change in their organizations. Instructors at the summit include Mary Cunningham, president/CEO, USA FCU; Mary Martha Fortney, president/CEO, NASCUS; and Juli Lynch, president, Turning Pointe Consulting. – [email protected]
