MADISON, Wis. – Filene Research Institute is taking COOL Solutions to the next level on March 16-17 during a multi-league work session in Columbus, Ohio. As another facet to its special report entitled, COOL Solutions for Gen Y: A Guide for Credit Unions by Filene Director of Innovation Mark C. Meyer, the dynamic work session will further explore products, services and business models credit unions can implement to effectively meet the needs of Generation Y. The Special Report is designed to provide real world support with a focus on application, and includes suggestions to help credit unions develop a strategy to serve young adult members, including a self-diagnostic tool to evaluate institutional knowledge on serving young adult members and potential members; and a survey through which Filene will gather additional information from credit unions on needs and best practices. The information will be used to help the Institute build additional resources to help credit unions dedicated to serving young adult members. To participate in the ongoing research and share experiences in providing products and services to the under-30 age population, credit unions may visit www.filene.org and click on staff and contact information to e-mail details to Mark Meyer.
