CALABASAS, Calif.- Internet banking vendor Digital Insight has launched a new business banking application specifically for credit unions. Member Business Services features electronic funds transfer via ACH or wires, online bill payment for small business and positive pay to help prevent check fraud. Mountain America Credit Union was one of the CUs that piloted the product. Mountain America, which had $80 million in business deposits in 2004, a 30% increase from the previous year, was getting requests for an online banking solution for its business accounts. Tony Rasmussen, vice president for eServices at Mountain America Credit Union, said the CU believes in outsourcing and found the DI product met its needs.
