FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Member Mortgage Services Ltd., a provider of Web-based instant mortgage decision solutions to credit unions, has acquired the client base of MBS Mortgage Co. in Grand Rapids. MBS Mortgage Co. has told its 75 client credit unions in 10 states that it is discontinuing mortgage lending operations and “has made a recommendation that they meet with representatives from Member Mortgage Services to explore the technologies, products, and services that the new provider can bring to the table,” according to Timothy Crowley, president of Member Mortgage Services. “We're excited at the prospect of showing this great group of institutions what we can do to help them improve their mortgage offerings to members,” Crowley said. In addition to the 24-7 Mortgage Online Web-based service, Member Mortgage Services offers loan origination and processing, underwriting and closing services.
