I applaud Mike Welch's Jan. 12 column “Waving the Flag for Small CUs Not Smart.” It was excellent and just what needed to be said. I hope NCUA Board member Debbie Matz and others within the movement will take heed. As you know the fight is fierce here in Utah and these people are being quoted in an effort to split the large and small. Your voice of reason is so refreshing.
