WASHINGTON – The SBA said the recent redesign of its Office of Advocacy Web site will allow visitors to access more small business research and statistics faster. The site, www.sba.gov/advo, offers intuitive, easy to use menus and search features that guide users to a wealth of data, reports, and statistics on small business and the American economy, the SBA said. The redesign is based on observations and contributions from Office of Advocacy stakeholders, the SBA said. Users of the newly designed site report that regulatory issues, state profiles, and other issue areas are clearly indexed and easily accessible. The Office of Advocacy, the "small business watchdog" of the government, examines the role and status of small business in the economy and independently represents the views of small business to federal agencies, Congress, and the President. It is the source for small business statistics presented in user-friendly formats and it funds research into small business issues.
