GAITHERSBURG, Md. -The MCT Federal Credit Union branch at Glen Haven Elementary School in Silver Spring has opened its doors for business. Fifth-grade students tapped to work as tellers to process transactions include (from left) Megan Cissel, Martha Lee, Luis Gutierrez, Benjamin Lam, Bianca Hicks, Alexa Pereira, Rosa Gutierrez, and Reneese Dixon. This marks the sixth year that the school has operated the in-school branch, which gives children first-hand experience with finances and managing money.
