DOWNEY, Calif. – Nader Moghaddam has joined Financial Partners Credit Union as its new president/CEO. Moghaddam will take the reins from board member Joe Spetz who for the past year, has guided the $619 million credit union as interim CEO. Prior to joining Financial Partners, Moghaddam worked at Kinecta Federal Credit Union as executive vice president, member service, sales, operations and lending, and president of Kinecta Financial & Insurance Services, LLC. He has 20 years of financial services experience, having begun his career in 1984 at Bank of America before joining the credit union industry in 1998. Moghaddam's plans for the credit union are to promote membership growth and develop new programs that will benefit the many diverse groups within the numerous Southern California communities it serves, the credit union said. “We are confident Moghaddam will prove a dynamic and inspirational leader,” Spetz said. “He has extensive experience in financial operations and a clear vision of what he wants to accomplish.” Established in 1937, Financial Partners FCU serves more than 58,000 members.
