ELKHART, Ind. – The Business Recognition Council of the Elkhart County Chamber of Commerce has presented the partnership branch of Bayer Federal Credit Union and Chiphone Federal Credit Union a Fairbanks Award. The Fairbanks Award is for those organizations that make an effort to improve existing or new property with landscaping, architectural structure, painting and signage in the Elkhart business community. Dallas Bergl, President and CEO of Bayer FCU and Dawn Braniff, Branch Manager of Chiphone FCU were on hand to receive the award. The partnership branch of Bayer FCU and Chiphone FCU is a lodge-inspired branch that was completed and open for business in early 2004.
