DALLAS – The $1.4 billion Community Credit Union will go from being the sixth largest credit union in Texas to being the 25th largest bank headquartered in Texas if its conversion to a bank passes, according to a story which appeared January 9 in the Dallas Business Journal. The story also reported that Community's board spent a year researching the charter change move and that the credit union is declining to speak much about it until after NCUA approves its disclosures.
