ALEXANDRIA, Va. – More than 100,000 of Pentagon Federal Credit Union's members will have access to insurance through an alliance with VantisLife Insurance Co. Among other reasons, the $7.2 billion credit union chose VantisLife for its "affordable life insurance solutions," said Christopher Flynn, executive vice president of Pentagon Federal. The products and services will be offered to more than 100,000 of the credit union's members in certain states through CUSO Financial Services, which also offers broker/dealer services to Pentagon Federal. "Providing excellent rates and proven service is the key to our member-oriented philosophy, and VantisLife products help us extend that level of service to protection products for our members who can buy directly over the phone," Flynn said. East Hartford, Conn.-based VantisLife has $650 million in assets. As the third largest credit union in the nation, Pentagon Federal serves more than 600,000 members in the Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Defense and Department of Defense.
