LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. – SecurePipe Inc., a provider of network security services to more than 200 financial institutions, now will be offering its services to clients of Open Solutions Inc. The agreement will make SecurePipe's suite of services available to the hundreds of credit unions on OSI's homegrown and recently acquired RDS and FiTECH core processing platforms and other e-business solutions. OSI decided to offer its clients the SecurePipe option "because they can deliver robust managed network security services designed to meet the needs of banks and credit unions, at an affordable price," said Mark Harris, vice president of strategic alliances for OSI in Glastonbury, Conn. Illinois-based SecurePipe's services include intrusion prevention, detection and response, anti-spam and virus solutions, virtual private networks and security policy development. CLEARWATER, Fla. – TWS Systems Inc. has partnered with Bluepoint Solutions in the development of front-counter image capture solutions for credit unions, the companies said. Clearwater-based TWS specializes in ATM management and imaged transaction processing, while Bluepoint Solutions offers credit unions document imaging and electronic records management software. The companies will be offering a solution they call ImageCenter Teller Capture, a core platform-independent system they say will help credit unions take advantage of Check 21 and improve fraud prevention by enabling users to capture transaction data and images at the teller level.
