HARRISBURG, Pa. – eCU Technologies is now offering an electronic alerts feature for users of the tech CUSO's Internet banking solution. The alerts service is being offered through an alliance with DocuMatix, a Salt Lake City-based provider of online marketing tools and services for credit unions. The service allows credit unions to automatically e-mail members on their computers or through mobile carrier text networks about such events as credit card transactions, balances falling below certain amounts and loan payments due. “The number of alerts that you can develop are endless,” says Alan Brunner, COO at eCU Technologies, a CUSO of $2.3 billion Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union. “It's simply another way in which members' home banking experience can become even more customized for their needs.” The alliance calls for the DocuMatix alerts module to be offered with eCU Technologies' home banking solution, as well as a stand-alone module, or incorporated into a credit union's current home banking solution.
