BETHPAGE, N.Y. - Bethpage Federal Credit Union and AIL Federal Credit Union have merged. Through the conversion, Bethpage gains a new branch location in North Babylon, $12 million in assets, and an additional 2,000 members. "AIL FCU members are now eligible to utilize all of Bethpage's products and services, but will be unable to use the other Bethpage branches until the January system conversion," said Bethpage FCU President /CEO Kirk Kordeleski. "A dual system has been set up in North Babylon so current Bethpage members can use this branch." This $12 million deal by Bethpage follows the credit union's merger with Lockheed Martin Fairchild Systems FCU in 2002, which added 1,000 members and $6 million in assets.
