ALEXANDRIA, Va. – In a first, NCUA's Office of Corporate Credit Unions and corporate credit union CEOs are part of a new roundtable designed to enhance dialogue between the regulator and corporate leaders. The group gives OCCU Director Kent Buckham the opportunity to talk to corporate CEOs in a more casual environment away from the trade association in the Association of Corporate CUs and away from examiners. "This roundtable will provide an opportunity for NCUA and corporate credit union CEOs to engage in in-depth discussions regarding regulatory and other issues affecting the corporate credit union system," said Kent Buckham, Director of NCUA's Office of Corporate Credit Unions. The corporate CEOs serving in the new group are the following: Steve Roy, TriCorp; Brad Miller, Treasure State Corporate; Kathy Garner, Northwest Corporate; Bruce Fahnestock, VolCorp; Bill Birdwell, Southeast Corporate; Joe Herbst, Empire Corporate; and Bob Siravo, WesCorp.
