NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Members of the American Credit Union Mortgage Association (ACUMA) are being asked to complete a survey that probes into their real estate lending activities and related services. ACUMA Executive Director Bob Dorsa said the information gathered in the questionnaire is intended to be used as a live database that can be updated and refreshed for the benefit of ACUMA members. "The 5300 call report doesn't get into these types of issues," he said. Among the areas addressed in the survey are: Real Estate Lending Activity – mortgage functions performed, primary mortgage products, select states for real estate lending; 1st Mortgage Origination and Sales Volume – monthly and yearly origination volume, closed volume, loans sold volume; Servicing volume; Technology Vendors/Partners – for origination, servicing, Internet. To complete the survey, a credit union has to be an ACUMA member. The questionnaire is accessible on the association's Web site – www.acuma.org.
