PASADENA, Calif. – Wescom Resources Group (WRG) went across the country to sign the seventh user of the CUSO's service bureau platform, First Coast Community Credit Union in Palatka, Fla. The $54 million CU will be using the Symitar Episys platform as well as home banking, bill pay, e-statements and tax forms, automated lending, “skip-a-pay” and online membership application functions from WRG. “We've experienced a 180-degree change technology-wise,” said Chris Leggett, president and CEO of 8,700-member First Coast Community CU. Leggett said the credit union no longer has to rely on a single in-house IT person who often had to work 12 to 14 hours a day, and can better concentrate its resources on member services. WRG, a CUSO of $2.8 billion Wescom Credit Union, now has seven service bureau clients, ranging in size from $9 million to $74 million in assets.
