APPLE VALLEY, Minn. – Members who log on to the NWA Federal Credit Union Web site will soon be directed to the Wings Financial FCU site. According to the $1.4 billion credit union, the www.nwafcu.org site will soon be replaced with the wingsfinancial.com site. "Most of the features and services you are used to at nwafcu.org are available there, and all of them will be soon," the credit union told members. It also reminded members of the name change to Wings Financial FCU, which was announced in July. The redirection to the new site comes on the heels of an announcement from the credit union and Northwest Airlines on their reaching a settlement on a nearly year-and-a half old dispute over claims of name and logo infringement. In December 2003, the credit union received NCUA approval to expand to a trade, industry and profession (TIP) charter to serve its field of membership to anyone who works in the air transportation industry. The credit union has been operating duel sites for some time.
