Indiana Members Credit Union, Indianapolis, has helped raise a total of $11,008.82 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Indiana. Cutouts were sold at each branch and proudly displayed with the name of the person making the donation. Additionally, staffers, their families and friends enjoyed golf, miniature golf and karaoke to help raise funds. The donation is enough to grant a wish for two Indiana children. Make-A-Wish Foundation of Indiana annually grants nearly 200 magical wishes for children throughout Indiana. Travis Credit Union, Vacaville, Calif., staffers recently sponsored and donated their time to Family Day at Travis Air Force Base. The event was attended by more than 8,000 and included bands, bar-b-ques and drill team events to recognize the contributions of military members and their families. Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union, Gaithersburg, Md., staffers went bowling for a good cause during 10th Annual Hospice Caring-Halloween Bowlathon. MAFCU sponsored five teams in the bowlathon and made a contribution of $750 to Hospice Caring, Inc. An overall total of $10,000 was collected during this event to help them continue doing their work in the community and ensure that help will be there when needed.
