CORONA, Calif. -In conjunction with the opening of its 33rd branch Wescom Credit Union has donated computers to the Quality West Wing Foundation. The Quality West Wing Foundation is a Corona-based non-profit organization that serves as an alternative to costly field trips to Washington for Southern California students. It provides students with the opportunity to tour a replica of the President's Oval Office, view model buildings of Capital Hill, and learn more about the entire democratic process in several classroom settings. According to West Wing Foundation Education Director Terri Jaggers, the West Wing replica was built by Hollywood set designers and is considered to be a 95% accurate replica. The donated computers will become part of a computer lab that is equipped with interactive CD Roms that allow students to write a sample law and participate in other political processes.
