POWAY, Calif.-Last week, a Great American Credit Union branch was robbed of $3,000 by a woman who slipped a demand note to a teller, according to www.signonsandiego.com. The note also asked for directions to another credit union, San Diego County Credit Union, in Rancho Penasquitos, San Diego County, the Web site said quoting sheriff's officials. The woman fled with $3,000 in cash, she said. Law enforcement informed San Diego County Credit Union about the request for their location, the article said. No robbery attempts had taken place there as of deadline.
