Atlanta – Christofer Hoff, Chief Information Security Officer and Director of Enterprise Security Services for WesCorp, is in an elite class. Executive Alliance, Inc. and Symantec announced that Hoff has been named among 49 nominees for the first annual Information Security Executive of the Year (ISE) National Award T 2004. The award recognizes information security excellence nationally, will be presented at a dinner in conjunction with the CSI 31st Annual Computer Security Conference and Exhibition at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, D.C. on November 8, 2004. "I am thrilled to be nominated among such a high caliber of industry leaders, many of whom are my role models," said Hoff. Prior to joining WesCorp, Hoff served as the Chief Security and Technology Officer for a national security consulting firm, formed and managed the security team and provided product development for a global service provider, and managed global IT/IS projects whose scopes were in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Hoff currently holds several security credentials including CISSP, CISA, CISM, IAM, CCSE+ and is an accomplished and accredited technical instructor. He is active in several security associations such as ISC2, ISACA and the ISSA.
