ONTARIO, Calif. – CO-OP Network members will enjoy more money as the nation's largest credit union owned fee-free ATM network has cut the fees it charges its members for transactions at merchant's point of sale terminals. The cut should put more than $7.4 million in the pockets of its 1,742 member credit unions, the CO-OP estimated. "The CO-OP Network management team constantly evaluates the bottom line to ensure we give member credit unions the best service and pricing possible," said CO-OP Network CEO Robert Rose. "As testament to this, since February 2003, our board has approved price reductions totaling nearly $13 million. Our pricing actions speak volumes about the nature of CO-OP Network and highlight the benefits of belonging to a credit union-owned organization," Rose added.
