CHARLOTTE, N.C, – This fall Tuckaseegee Elementary School students will learn some basic money management skills thanks to Charlotte Postal Credit Union. Charlotte Postal CU has recently launched a free financial literacy education program entitled All About Banking. In addition to teaching basic money management skills, the course introduces students to the development of money, the history of banking and the value of federal insurance on deposits. According to Charlotte Postal CU Director of Marketing/Branding Rachel Nynas, the program is designed to provide students a solid foundation for money management while at the same time reinforcing math and reading skills in a fun way.
