PORTLAND, Ore. – Robert Barzler, who has served as interim president and CEO of Point West CU, has been named president/CEO of the $91 million CU. Prior to serving in the interim position, Barzler was executive vice president and chief financial officer. In his new position, he succeeds Karen Johnson, who resigned in June. Point West CU, formerly known as Multco CU, has more than 9,500 members. Its field-of-membership includes employees of the Portland area counties, the City of Portland, and 39,000 businesses in the greater metropolitan area.
