ALEXANDRIA, Va. – NCUA has liquidated the $1 million Appalachian Development FCU headquartered in Nelsonville, Ohio. The members' accounts will be closed and the balances returned to the members within 30 days, the agency said. The credit union has 1,646 members. Agency staff on site declined to offer any more details about the liquidation.
