LYNCHBURG, Va. – VACORP broke ground on its new 9,000square-foot corporate headquarters last week here. The newheadquarters will be ready in the first quarter of next year and itmarks one of many changes VACORP CEO Jim Hansen has brought to thecorporate since arriving last year. Hansen also changed thecorporate's name from Virginia League Corporate FCU to VACORP; hasadded management members; and expanded the corporate's productline. VACORP has shared space with the Virginia League for 28years. “The design of the new headquarters building became anecessity to handle staff expansion associated with a variety ofnew products and services we have brought to our members over thelast couple years,” said Hansen. PW Campbell is the design/buildfirm for the project.
