NAFCU has called on former Iowa Congressman Fred Grandy (Gopher from The Love Boat) to keynote the event. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), who is in charge of writing regulatory relief legislation in the Senate, has also agreed to speak. In addition, House Financial Services Committee Member Paul Kanjorski (D-Pa.), Democratic leader on the Credit Union Regulatory Improvements Act (H.R. 3579), accepted NAFCU’s invitation to address the group. On the regulatory side, NCUA Chairman JoAnn Johnson and Board Member Debbie Matz will speak, as well as Federal Reserve Board Governor Ed Gramlich.
