NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. - John Proos, deputy chief of staffand district director for Rep. Fred Upton (R-St. Joseph) wasrecognized as the 2003 Michigan Credit Union League LegislativeStaff Member of the Year. Proos, a nine-year member of Upton'sstaff, is a candidate in the Republican primary for the MichiganHouse of Representatives in the 79th District being vacated byterm-limited Rep. Charlie LaSata.
