NEWPORT NEWS, Va.-The Virginia Peninsula Clean Business Forum has presented 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union its Clean Business Award. The $360 million credit union is one of four businesses honored this year. The Clean Business Award is given in recognition of businesses that "improve the appearance of the business communities through litter control, recycling and beautification." The credit union's Denbigh Branch was recognized for always being well maintained and neat in appearance. The remaining winners included Addison Apartments in Hampton, Owens-Brockway Glass Containers in James City County and Days Inn of York County.
