SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Darrel Olson was named by Arrowhead President/CEO Larry Sharp as president/CEO of the credit union’s wholly-owned insurance company, Sawyer Cook Insurance. In addition, Thomas Barbour was named president/CEO of Arrowhead Investment Center, the CU’s wholly-owned full service brokerage. Olson has worked with Sawyer Cook for 13 years holding various positions including partner/owner, VP of production, general manager, sales manager, registered representative, and licensed agent. His specialty training and experience includes consulting and management for businesses, Series 6 and 63 licenses, LUTCF designation, and all aspects of a full service multi-lines agency including property/casualty, personal lines, third party administration, marine industry, and employee benefits. Barbour joined Arrowhead Investment Center in 1999 as vice president, sales manager. In 2001 he became SVP and managing partner. He has over 27 years of experience in the financial services industry, and he holds Series 7, 63 and 24 securities licenses along with life and personal lines insurance licenses.
