OMAHA, Neb. – Marking its first entry into neighboring Iowa, SAC Federal Credit Union will hold ribbon cutting ceremonies Aug. 6 for its new Council Bluffs branch with NCUA Chairman JoAnn Johnson slated to speak, the CU announced this week. "We're glad to have JoAnn, who is from Iowa, to be with us," said James Guretzky, SAC president/CEO. The $500,000 Council Bluffs branch, across the street from a large shopping mall and which will be full service, is the ninth office for SAC with plans in 2005 for a 10th branch in Omaha plus remodeling of two offices at Offutt Air Force Base.
