DENVER – United Member's Mortgage, LLC, a multi-owned mortgage CUSO has added its 48th CU owner – Credit Union 1, Sandy, Utah. UMM is owned by CUs in seven states and is growing to expand into more states, the CUSO says. Established in 2001 as the mortgage department of Colorado United CU, UMM was spun off as a CUSO in 2003. Since then it has originated and processed over $85 million in first mortgages in 2003 and $27 million already in 2004.
