ARLINGTON, Va. – United National Federal Credit Union was awarded first place in NAFCU's annual Innovation Showcase awards. The awards highlight innovative works that have led to credit union success stories, according to NAFCU. UNFCU won the top spot for its WebChat program, which facilitates member contact through a two-way, real time Internet channel. The credit union launched WebChat last July, which is available to its members around the world. Fort Knox Federal Credit Union received second place for its Branch@Home E-Statements. The service has expanded online convenience to members, including check imaging within 24-hours; monthly e-statements; E-lerts, letting members know of account activity, like NSFs; secure online transactions; and access to real time account information.
