PLANO, Texas – IntegraSys says end usage of its online banking services has more than doubled in the past two years. The Fiserv unit said its Virtual Branch suite of e-commerce offerings processed more than 90 million transactions in 2003, a 260% increase from two years earlier. The number of end users also increased more than 60% over that time span, and 400 credit unions now use Virtual Branch, including 40 who began in 2003. Fiserv bought the big core technology provider to credit unions from EDS last year. Since then, enhancements have included online check images, bill pay, personalized logon capabilities, e-mail alerts and enhanced contact features. “We're currently taking our Virtual Branch suite to the next level to help credit unions enhance their e-presence even further with more online bill presentment and lending options and commercial banking capabilities,” said Dave Selina, senior vice president and general manager of Virtual Branch, XRoads and Industry Services for IntegraSys. Selina also said that in 2003, the Virtual Branch platform: * Hosted more than 44 million unique user sessions, almost double the usage from 2001 * Processed close to 6 million bill payments valued at more than $1.3 billion * Presented more than 4.5 million check images to credit union members * Hosted user connect time equal to 608 years * Provided links to 16 new third party sources, including check images, credit card history, statements, share drafts and the Federal Reserve's system that provides access to check images.
