PLANO, Texas – IntegraSys says end usage of its online bankingservices has more than doubled in the past two years. The Fiservunit said its Virtual Branch suite of e-commerce offeringsprocessed more than 90 million transactions in 2003, a 260%increase from two years earlier. The number of end users alsoincreased more than 60% over that time span, and 400 credit unionsnow use Virtual Branch, including 40 who began in 2003. Fiservbought the big core technology provider to credit unions from EDSlast year. Since then, enhancements have included online checkimages, bill pay, personalized logon capabilities, e-mail alertsand enhanced contact features. “We're currently taking our VirtualBranch suite to the next level to help credit unions enhance theire-presence even further with more online bill presentment andlending options and commercial banking capabilities,” said DaveSelina, senior vice president and general manager of VirtualBranch, XRoads and Industry Services for IntegraSys. Selina alsosaid that in 2003, the Virtual Branch platform: * Hosted more than44 million unique user sessions, almost double the usage from 2001* Processed close to 6 million bill payments valued at more than$1.3 billion * Presented more than 4.5 million check images tocredit union members * Hosted user connect time equal to 608 years* Provided links to 16 new third party sources, including checkimages, credit card history, statements, share drafts and theFederal Reserve's system that provides access to check images.
