MADISON, Wis. -Based on the theory that "failing to plan means planning to fail" CUES has released the Credit Union Facility Strategies, Planning and Management manual. The three-volume set is designed to help avoid the pitfalls common to handling the bricks and mortar aspect of credit unions and is split into three categories – Branch Strategies, Planning and Design, to help with short-term goals; Operations Facility Planning and Design, which focuses on long-term projects; and Facility Acquisition, Management and Site Planning, which provides resources for facility managers, and includes topics such as budgeting and real estate strategies. As both a workbook and reference guide the manuals are also filled with information including checklists, case studies, design and mapping illustrations, sample forms and documents, costs analysis and a glossary of terms. The manuals are available as a set or individually. For more information call (608) 271-2664 ext. 3400 or visit www.cues.org and select Products.
