CENTENNIAL, Colo. – For the first time auto finance company CENTRIX Financial has tapped a board member from outside of the credit union community with the election of Everest National Insurance Company Vice President Daryl Bradley to its Credit Union Advisory Board. Bradley joins the following 2004 CU Advisory Board members: Carroll D. Beach, President/CEO, Credit Union Service Corporation; Susan J. Brayman, Retired Executive Vice President, Colorado Credit Union System; David Chatfield, President/CEO, California Credit Union League; Dick Ensweiler, President, Texas Credit Union League; Ike Keener, President, Allegacy Federal Credit Union; Gary Plank, President, Arizona Credit Union League; David Reynolds, President/CEO, Security Services Federal Credit Union; Anne Shivers, President, Carolina Collegiate Federal Credit Union; Ken Sorrells, CEO/President, Credit Union of Texas; Larry Strong, President, Velocity Credit Union; Richard Wellner, President, Corporate America Family Credit Union; Gary B. Wolter, President, Alabama Credit Union League; and Pat Yokley, President, Midwest United Credit Union. "Over the years the Advisory Board has been instrumental in helping us shape the PMP program to meet the needs of the market. According to Sutton, this year's board will be charged with maximizing the following three business and marketing initiatives for the credit union industry: 1.Enhancing CENTRIX's focus on consumers, encompassing both the Company's entrance into a direct-to-consumer model and the bolstering of consumer advocacy and education programs; 2. The continued addition of value-add programs for current partners, including new ways of marketing to CENTRIX's consumer base, that will generate benefits far beyond the terms of their loans; 3. The expansion of CENTRIX's partner base in both the financial and automotive markets, allowing the Company to continually develop new, better programs while facilitating its growth.
