HONOLULU – The next Partnering and Leadership Successes Workshop is set to cover "New Ideas to Reach New Members." "This unique workshop is inspired by a wide range of initiatives that have been successful in attracting new members from all walks of life," said NCUA Board Member Debbie Matz, who made the announcement during the Hawaii Credit Union League's 66th Annual Convention. "I have seen so many wonderful innovations as I've traveled across the country, I believe that credit union officials on the Hawaiian Islands and the mainland could learn a great deal by sharing their ideas with each other." The workshop will be presented at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, the afternoon after the close of CUNA's Future Forum Oct. 27 at the same location. CUNA and the Hawaii Credit Union League are co-hosting the workshop with NCUA. Matz expects the workshop to include two panels of credit union leaders explaining their efforts to expand their memberships. Following the workshop, CUNA is hosting a luau to continue the exchange of ideas.
