NCCUL VP of Governmental/Regulatory Affairs Dan Schline said the program will raise credit unions’ visibility “and help us educate a larger group of legislators on the credit union difference.” On May 11, chapter members will have dinner with Sens. Linda Garrou and Kay Hagan, the co-chairs of the state Senate Appropriations Committee. On May 12, they’ll head to the North Carolina General Assembly to meet with other state lawmakers from their district.
