Virginia Credit Union League, Lynchburg, has named Fort Belvoir Federal Credit Union Vice President of Marketing/Business Development Jacqueline R.C. Connor the Eugene H. Farley Jr. Professional of the Year. The statewide award is named for the retired CEO of the Virginia Credit Union League. Connor was recognized for numerous professional accomplishments, including various professional designations in both marketing and credit union leadership. Atlantic Regional Federal Credit Union, Brunswick, Maine, has been named 2003 Business of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce of the Bath-Brunswick Region. This award recognizes a business in the Mid Coast Region that has demonstrated business growth and improvement; good financial health; quality member service; staying power; overall excellence in the marketplace; and strong community involvement. Community First Credit Union, Appleton, Wis., has been named the Small Business of the Year by The Post-Crescent. The credit union was recognized for its dedication and service to the community. The honor was announced as a leading story in the newspaper's recent Annual Report to the Community.
