Size: 4,559 square-feet Length of Time to Build: 10 months Brand Concept: “Southern Casual” How Concept Reinforced in Retail Environment: The retail services combined with the Southern Casual atmosphere help create a destination. Featured on neutral-colored walls, the large-scale, eye-catching lifestyle graphics, framed with thick wood frames that coordinate with the casework, promote the products and services available. The combined use of warm wood, tile and carpeted flooring and the integration of bead board ceilings and ceiling fans also helps communicate the concept. The waiting area includes oversized, wicker chairs with accent pillows reminiscent of lounging on an outdoor porch. The exterior design incorporates a square entry tower to highlight the building, attracting attention when illuminated at night. A warm, red brick used on the exterior and the abundant windows creates a welcoming facility. The exterior is highlighted by a long front porch with white washed pillars and lazy rocking chairs available for members to sit and relax. Future Retail Branches Planned: Yes several other branch locations will use this specific design. Measurements of Success: Although open less than a year initial member satisfaction surveys at the Clemmons branch have revealed rave reviews about the appearance/theme of this branch and the retail services provided. In addition, loan and share portfolios have increased.
