AUSTIN, Texas – FundsXpress said that Cooperativa Zeno Gandia, a $206 million credit union in Puerto Rico, has deployed the fxLending automated lending solution. fxLending is a recent addition to FundsXpress’ suite of Internet-based financial services and combines application origination, underwriting and management solutions. Cooperativa Zeno Gandia is currently utilizing fxLending’s credit decision tool and will be expanding the platform next month to include loan applications on its Web site at www.zenogandia.coop. “Processing a loan application prior to implementing fxLending demanded at least an hour of our credit officer’s time. With fxLending, back-office processes have been greatly reduced to just 20 minutes, improving our bottom line and client satisfaction,” said Efran Domenech, executive president of Cooperativa Zeno Gandia. In October 2001, Cooperativa Zeno Gandia became the first credit union in Puerto Rico to offer Internet banking services. It will celebrate its 50th anniversairy this year. Austin-based FundsXpress (www.fundsxpress.com) is a provider of Internet banking, account aggregation and Web site products and services to credit unions and banks nationwide.
