ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Nearly 400 card executives from PSCU Financial Services member credit unions traveled to Las Vegas from April 21 to 23 to keep themselves up to date on card changes and the best practices for card management. The attendance was a record for the card servicing firm. “I think there is definitely a heightened interest in card management,” said Merry Pateuk, director of public relations for the credit union owned cooperative whose members all process their card transactions with First Data Corporation. “But then again we always have a good draw when we go to Las Vegas.” The cooperative held the meeting at the Bellagio hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. In addition to hearing from notable credit card experts, the card executives enjoyed entertainment provided at the Las Vegas production of the Blue Man Group as well as a golf outing and fitness fun run, PSCU reported.
