LAS VEGAS - Approximately 400 registrants are expected to turnout for NACUSO's 2004 Annual Conference, May 2-4 at the CaesarsPalace in Las Vegas, Nev. The three-day conference starts off witha pre-conference meeting hosted by NACUSO General Counsel GuyMessick of the Credit Union Caf, which gives credit union and CUSOstaff and directors to network and exchange "candid" information ontheir respective services and experience. Among the list ofspeakers expected to address conferees during the event are CUNAMutual Group's John Henry and Daniel Worblewski of MEMBERS TrustCompany; Ted Johnson of Life Insurance Market Research Association(LIMRA); Gary Raddon of Raddon Financial Group; Ray Wright andDavid Lesko of United Datatronics; and Roger Dow of MarriottInternational. In addition, representatives from various CUSOs willlead breakout sessions, approximately four of which are tied tobusiness lending. NACUSO President Bob Dorsa said part of thechallenge of organizing the conference "and what makes it sounique" is the diversity of subjects and markets that are coveredin the various breakout sessions. "Every session is almost a wholelittle conference in itself," he said. "CUSOs and credit unions areinvolved in all of these businesses, not just one discipline. Theseare the topics that are going to shape the future of creditunions."
